The 10th annual Fire & Rescue Goodwill Challenge was held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Cherokee Park in Morristown, TN. The event was postponed in 2008 and was continued this year. This year, the Sharps Chapel Fire Department Junior Firefighter Explorer Post competed against six other department Explorer teams from the area, including two teams from Georgia. The 2009 events included Individual Rapid Dress, Team Rapid Dress, Combat Challenge, Hose Relay, and the Maze trailer. The Sharps Chapel team brought home the 3rd Place Over-All trophy presented for this year's event. This year's team consisted of Adam Brantlye, Jason Morris, Keaton Lester, Bryce Raley, Justin Cox, Brandon Collins, and Jordan Smallwood. Congratulations to SCVFD Explorer Post #510. |
