Chief Upton Announces New Ranks In The Department

At the August 6, 2007 SCVFD meeting, Chief Upton promoted Mason Simpson to Captain, Kevin Wenger to Lieutenant, Brandon Smith and Debbie Hammontree to Safety Officers.

Chief Upton said these four members have shown great support and have been very beneficial to the department over the past few months.  He said Simpson, Smith and Hammontree all recently completed Level III training at the State Fire School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee.

Upton also said that the recent new members to the department have been very hard-working and dedicated.  He said he was proud of them all.
