SCVFD Explorers Attend 9^th Annual Goodwill Fire & Rescue Challenge

The 9^th Annual Goodwill Fire and Rescue Challenge was held at Chilhowee Park in Knoxville on Saturday, August 4, 2007.

The Sharps Chapel Explorer Post attended again this year, along with 12 other Explorer teams.

This year’s events were:

 1) Hose Relay

2) Maze Trailer

3) Team Rapid Dress

4) Singles Rapid Dress and

5) Mystery Event (old fashioned bucket brigade).

SCVFD Explorers brought home two trophies, placing 2^nd Place in Singles Rapid Dress and 3^rd Place in Team Rapid Dress.  They placed 4^th in the Hose Relay.  It was close!

Everyone had a great time, but it was a hot day.

Participating for SCVFD this year was Team Captain Kevin Wenger, Jacob Wenger, Cody Collins, Brandon Collins, Eric Brown, and Adam Brantley.
