2008 Fund Drive
Residents who live in the Sharps Chapel area will soon be receiving a 2008 Fund Drive Brochure in their mail.  The Sharps Chapel Volunteer Fire Department does this yearly mail-out to update citizens on what the Fire Department is doing, and to help keep the Department budget built up.

The SCVFD is an all-volunteer organization.  We provide fire protection and rescue services to approximately 3,000 residents, and or community is growing each year.  We currently have about 30 active members who attend training sessions, meetings, community activities and respond to emergency calls within our area.  We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In 2007, we responded to 184 calls, but as this area continues to grow, we have noticed our call volume grow as well.
